Lauren received her B.A. from the University of Kentucky in Political Science. While in college, Lauren interned for several federal office holders and political organizations. Her internship with the Republican Party of Kentucky (RPK) placed Lauren in the pivotal role of filing and organizing all information received from voters during the Commonwealth’s 2015 Presidential Caucus, in which she also participated. She spent the following summer working in the Lexington, Kentucky office of Congressman Andy Barr where she focused on education issues and veteran inquiries and services. During her senior year, Lauren interned for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Washington, D.C. where she researched workforce, education, and healthcare issues as well as performed constituent services.

Lauren’s passion for politics has also led to her work on local, state, and federal campaigns. She canvassed for 2016 presidential candidate Senator Marco Rubio and worked on the congressional campaigns of Congressmen Andy Barr (KY-6) and James Comer (KY-1). She has campaigned for several state senators and representatives including but not limited to: 2019 candidate for Lieutenant Governor, Senator Ralph Alvarado (R-28), former Senator and President of the Senate David Williams (R-16), current House Majority Whip, Representative Chad McCoy (R-50), and current House Majority Caucus Chair, Representative Suzanne Miles (R-7).

With strong relationships among the GOP supermajority in both chambers, Lauren has a stellar reputation for bringing good ideas to lawmakers that tie into their legislative agenda. Her main focus at Babbage Cofounder is on legislative affairs and stakeholder engagement – including tracking and communicating the issues that matter most to clients and mobilizing support accordingly. Additionally, her expertise in social media through campaign work ties into creating broader awareness of all Babbage Cofounder’s causes.
